I am running 265/75r16 on stock rims. I am looking to upgrade the wheels to something else. I have been informed that I can't run certain wheels due to the calipers. What ate the measurements that I need to be wary of.

I should mention a three inch lift is happening soon. In the way of 5100 and 885 springs

it usually comes down to the design of the wheels... most members go with a wheel that has 4.5 inches of backspacing. I have 4.5" bs and my wheels sit incredibly close to the caliper but that doesn't cause a problem I am also running stock sized tires with my wheel choice! hope this helped! other members will recommend a wheel with a backspacing of 5'' or less!

    thx for that.

I was thinking there was something more than the backspacing to look for. But yes I will be running 4.5 backspacing on whatever I run

oh okay in that case then there is also the factor of whether you want to run a 16x8 or a 16x9 wheel as well as the offset. check out this thread for more info and you'll be ready to go!

thx for that link. I have gone through it. I think I will go back to my tire shop and see what they can do for wheels.
