Hello Gentlemen and Ladies of Tacoma World.

Its that time, I need new tires. I was hoping to get some recommendations for you all, or maybe at least some tips. I have a 2009 Tacoma SR5, current tires are P245/75R16.

What is the tallest and widest tire that I can go to with the stock 16" rim?

I've done some research and come up with the following as possible replacements, please let me know what you think of them (unless I can go bigger):

    BF Goodrich Mud Terrain T/A KM2 LT245/75R16E1 120 Q W - $246
    BF Goodrich All Terrain T/A KO LT245/75R16E1 120 W - $207
    Goodyear Wrangler MT/R Kevlar LT245/75R16E1 120 Q - $238

These prices are from Discoun Tire's website, I haven't tried to price match yet.

Believe it or not most questions have already been answered by others because the truck model has been out for 7 years now.

I have some stock tires for sale if your interested. Same stock tires as you posted but Dunlop AT-26. All brand new(maybe 500 mile on them), for $350.00 for all 4

My plab "B" was to purchase 3 new Dunlop AT-26 and use the spare (assuming its a Dunlop, haven't verified yet), then make one of the old ones the new spare.

Anoodle, you offer a good deal, but you're in California, I'm in Michigan. S/H on 4 tires will be pretty expensive.
