Why are these different?!

My buddy is buying a 2012 tacoma offroad and he was saying the wheels looked weird and they were missing somethign so I took a look online and saw that it seems that they are missing the center hubcaps? I didn't have my stock wheels long enough to ever take off the center. Should he tell them he won' tbuy the truck unless they replace them? maybe they were stole? what do you think?

yup, the dealer prob didnt put them on for fear of them being stolen on the lot. most likely they SHOULD be inside the vehicle.

 

the centercaps are not there, is he buying this 2012 brand new?? if so, the reason the center caps are not there yet is because the vehicle didnt go all the way through the dealer PDI inspection yet, most likely they are inside the trucks cab somewhere along with his tie down cleats for the bed, but at the time he actually signs the papers and buys the truck and whatnot, when it is delivered to him, it will have the centers on there, i wouldnt worry about it, its no biggy... just a dealer process

Yes the truck is new, so I'll let him know to just say somethign to the dealer and get them either way if they are or are not in the truck

 

My truck was the same way. The caps were in the truck and when I got the keys they had been installed.
