Hi guys, simple question. I'm wondering if I can run 20" wheels (+15 offset) with 285/50/20 tires with the stock TRD sport, or will any of the leveling kits work? I've been reading about trimming etc, any major issues? (It's hard to search when I'm at work on a phone). I Wont be doing much offroading. If theres no way this will work, what is the best wheel size? Thanks for the help.

So I used the tire calculator, moving from 265/70/R17 to 285/50/R20 actually creates a smaller overall diameter. The only size that grows is the width by just over half inch. I don't see a problem just from the numbers. If the width is an issue could the offset help (+15) or even a wheel spacer? Anyone try this? Thanks for your help

You could run 1" wheel spacers if you have rubbing issues. You'll rub on the upper A Arm most likely

Problem with a 20' wheel assuming you can get the proper offset or get there with spacers is that to keep the overall diameter to 32" max you are going to end up with the short sidewall like the 285/50R20 you mentioned. This will be acceptable for a Sport Truck tire that is intended for street use but very limiting for off-road use for several reasons. If you like the look of the larger wheels and don't mind the reduction in off-road capability then go for it!

Well other than hitting a dirt road from time to time, I don't do much offloading. And if I knew I had to get dirty I could always throw on the stock combination. I'm waiting on a response from the wheel manufacture but if its a go these wheels will look great. Would a levelling kit help? I feel I need one anyway!!!

Depending on the leveling kit, you still get full uptravel from the suspension, so permissable max tire size remains the same as stock.
