285/70/17 fitment with stock rims and 1.25 spacers

I'm currently running stock tires with stock 265/65/17 tires I also have 1.25 spacers installed with 2.5 inch lift on LR UCAS will I be able to run 285/70/17s with stock rims ?

 

You definitely can! You might need to remove your mud flaps if you haven't already.

 

Would I have to trim anything? Mud flaps are already removed

 

Most likely just a little trimming on the plastic wheel well liner specifically right behind the front bumper. Any trimming needed will be easy to take care off.

they will fit just fine in relation the the suspension components. your potential areas for rubbing and trimming are the cab mount, inner fender well, and fenders/flares. your alignment will have a good amount to do where and how much you hit, as well at the tire itself, as they vary in size by brand and modle. some people have had to cut a lot, others none. plan for the worst, hope for the best. you should be just fine for street driving though, without trimming.

 

Let us know how it goes. I have a "3 inch" level kit and the spidertrax and my alignment guy said that I could not run anything more than 265/70/17...........given that I do have stock wheels and upper and lower control arms.
