new rims and tires

im gonna get some new rims and tires as i just installed a lift kit(2.5 front and 1 rear)
im gonna get some level 8 zx wheels and now trying to figure out the tire part
i have a 2010 taco double cab. supercharged and the stock rugged fails arent working for me lol.
i was thinking bout getting some duratracs or nittos or any others?
but not sure what size i wanna get tho.
i would like to get keep my gas mileage.
i was thinking 285/75/16 or 265/75/16 or another size that works good.
im fine with trimming plastic would like to stay away from the cmc for a lil bit

You probably will rub the frame with only 2.5 inches of lift in the front. So if you want to avoid the CMC, then go with 265s.

 

im leaning towards 265/75/16 duratracs
that way they dont weight much more and kill my mpg

 

265/75/16 Cooper ATP's on stock suspension. No rubbing but close on the inner fenders at full lock. I had plenty of room on the stock alloys, but with the backspacing of the KMC's I put on, it pushed out the tires out a bit and made it close.

I would stay with 265's, they are perfect for the Tacoma.

Depends what kinda driving you do and if you do any serious off roading. Duratracs are heavy and will affect MPG. You can go with a P rated AT tire that's lighter and still looks good.

Check out the Cooper ATP's from Discount Tire. Mine are p rated and work well on the road and off, great all around tire. I have put mine threw some abuse and they take every bit, then they drive nice and smooth down the road back home. I purchased the certs with them so if I jack one up, I get another.
