I haven't had a chance to try my mickey thompson atz's out in the clay, but they are a damn aggressive all terrain that I dont consider loud. I've had them in the mud once so far and they were great.

clay does'nt clean out of anything, your better off stayin out of it. but if you do go in it keep your rpm's high or any tire will clog up and you will get stuck. i had a set of tsl swampers on a farm truck and it would still get stuck in damn red clay.

ok i really like the duratracs but they seem to have terrible road manners. espically on a little 4 bangin 1st gen.

i like the revos but they seems like they would be week in the mud.

    http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=Bridgestone&tireModel=Dueler+A%2FT+Revo+2&partnum=105SR5REVO2OWL&vehicleSearch=true&fromCompare1=yes&autoMake=Toyota&autoYear=1997&autoModel=Tacoma%204wd%20Xtra%20Cab&autoModClar=

same goes for the firestone destinations

    http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=Firestone&tireModel=Destination+A/T

i like the duratracs but its the fact that i have seen alot of bad road reviews and that tirerack says they arnt "ment" for my truck.

"The following tire you have selected has a higher load rating than the vehicle's Original Equipment (O.E.) tires. This typically results in increased ride harshness, which some customers may find undesirable"

EDIT: i can deside between the firestone and the revo....then i will compare the winnder to the duratracs.

You aren't from GA are you? If it is dirt, it is clay. There is no avoiding it in GA, unless you live at the coast.

I'll be going out for my second time with my ATZ's tomorrow. I'll be paying more attention to everything this time around, I'll let you know how they do.
