17" OEM TRD Wheels on 6" Pro Comp Lift?

Hey guys... I don't know if this has been discussed here on other posts.

I tried searching briefly and I did not find any discussions on this.

Maybe someone sporting a 6" Pro Comp lift can shed some light on this.

Will 1.25 spacers suffice to run the factory 17" TRD wheels on this lift?

Will the backspacing improve to give ample room for the wheel once these spacers are installed?

As I know without the proper backspace the tie rods will hit the wheel.

I'm hoping someone can chime in on this, as I would like to use the factory TRD wheels every now and then.

What size tires are you planning on running?

 

Tire size (factory) - 265/65

 

You're going to add a six inch lift but run factory tires??

 

6" lift is already on there (see my sig) I would like to run the stocks for a couple of weeks to get my aftermarket wheels really cleaned up.

 

Do you have Mickey Thompsons?

OP: What did you do with your 17" Moto Metals and 35's? Did you sell those? Or traded those for stock wheels and tires until you get your new set? Is that why you are asking about stock wheels and tires on 6" lift?

 

I still have the 17" Moto's wrapped in 35's and the Taco is still rolling on these, but I would like to roll on the stock OEM TRD wheels for a few weeks.

Just would like to get the Moto's really cleaned up & put them back on.

Would you or anyone know if I would also be able to use the hub centric spacers when running the Moto's?

I ask this because the Moto wheels are not hub centric. My take on this is... I should not have any problems as I have been using these wheels and they are not hub centric. I have been using them on the Taco for almost a year already and the Taco is hub centric.
