My info comes from 20 years working with TRD and it's workers who's names will not be listed. As a note car makers don't sell their test cars.

F.Y.I. TRD/USA is now run by Toyota/USA

1- show truck

2- blue duct tape

3- and a blue base model
lol, i've read the article. I've done a ton of research on that truck. And have talked to people directly related to the truck and the Project.

3. blue base model... that's just that a base model XRunner, nothing special about that one. So there was still only 2 truck used for development (whether or not they had a stock truck lined up for further testing).

the truck's had no VIN, so it would have been illegal to sell...

Aside from C&Ping snippets from that article i'm not sure what your trying to argue....

The Sport Compact Car article mentions "a top-fed panel intake filter breathing through the stock X-Runner hood scoop" which doesn't show in the engine bay photo...

And what's an "aluminum third member with 9-in. ring gear"
