soft clutch pedal

    my clutch seems to have gone soft on me for some reason :confused: not sure wat it could be it started happening after some hard driving today it has happend before but this time doesnt seem to go away

    bedlid. custom made intake ... dt shorties and a flowtech warlock mufler lpi install and some music
    get a performance clutch kit when myne started to go soft it died soon

    its odd tho because the feeling comes back to normal after a while then it goes soft again and my clutch grabs fine still

    alot of metal, small engine, decent travel.
    caged, camburg long travel, 50t leafpack (soon to be installed) light rack over cab, 5pt harnesses etc
    maybe try and bleed the clutch?

    just a thought

    it will be the trowoutbearing u best get it replaced and upgraded before the complete clutch and pressure plate will be destroyed

    LS1-T56 swap, Z06 ported heads, cam, Titanium valves, Kevlar clutch. Now building a forged stroker (383) and all the ponies! Old setup was rod-knockin on heaven's door...
    Really?? How do you figure that?

    I would say its most likely the hydraulic system, either the clutch master or the slave cylinder, the TB would make noise, not cause a soft pedal.

    One way to check it is to depress the pedal for about one minute, if it feels like it has lost pressure at that point you have a bad seal in the slave or clutch master. I replace this stuff all the time, however it seems that I replace the masters more often than the slaves...just my .02.

    my truck is sitting in repair. now ive had a soft feel to the pedal when driving it to the limit and after a while (2 monts) it started to make noise then it died on me letting me sit beside a highway towtruck came and the guy from toyota let me see what happened. ive ordered an new clutchkit and flywheelcombo and also the upgraded tb from urd i hope this will be the last one ive got to buy causse clutches arent the best part (killed 2 oem and one upgraded kit ) on my toyota
