Stock suspension getting a bit soft. Thinking about replacing with stock Bilstein units. Anyone done this yet? I might have some questions for you.

Where did you find a good price at? Did you just reuse stock springs?

I got mine from I think Autoanything.com. I reused the stock coils. I'd probably recommend the 885 coils with those tho instead of stock coils just incase you decide to throw a little lift on later.

Sure a lift kit. The Bilstein 5100's come as an adjustable shock that you can raise the front end of the truck up to 2.5". Which will be about level, maybe a little high.

    These are the adjustable bilsteins.

No, I think I'll leave it where it is. The 20" rims I have now raise it about as much as I'd want. Thanks for the answers, LowerBost.

Maybe you didn't realize this is in the X-Runner forum so I'm pretty sure there are zero plans to lift it.

My truck has 85K and I replaced with all new OEM Bilsteins. The truck handles much better!
