Picked up my X-Runner last month in Seattle sight unseen. I then spent the next seven days driving down the coast to my house in LA.

Toyota must be getting ready to phase them out because they havent done any advertising for the x runner, but then again, have they ever in the last 5 years? The only people that are buying them are the die hards that actually know of their existence, which to me makes it an even more valuable vehicle to have.

They are pretty rare in the northeast man, when I had mine it was one of a few in my area.

I live in Iowa, and they are even more rare (considering we get plenty of snow in the winter-should be fun) and i only know of two others in the state and they are an '07 and '05. the map on xru is even more scarce for this area too.

Just picked up my 09 BSP XR last night. Have only seen one other in Austin, but Im sure I will see more now that I will be looking harder for them

Seems there arent many posts in various XR forums. Surprised by that.

Yeah, but feel free to share over here too! We love all Tacomas equally.

I am partial to the XRs, but I had to have some ground clearance for high water crossings and minimal off-roading in the hill country. To say nothing of really needing a back seat.
