Another alternative to the glove box for the Ipod interface end of the cable.

Update: I've switched out the Metra Adapter for a Grom Adapter...same set-up, just different little box behind the dash...

Great job, but I'm wondering: Why didnt you feed it along the center console and have it come out next to the driver or passenger seat?

You might not have had to drill a hole that way??

Seems to me it could just lay down in there and then be connected and placed in the little compartment directly to the right of the shifter, which you have in the next photo?

It might have been a little cleaner, but I don't think the cord is long enough to do that...I've seen some that actually go all the way down to the center console, but mine didn't seem to be long enough without getting some sort of extension.

I did the same set-up. I love it. Easy to get to, out of the way and a new compartment is only about $12 if I change my mind. Cord length and adapter placement limit the locations quite a bit.

I'm with you on that one...I still ran it in that little cubby once I switched to the Grom (which had a long enough cord to make it to the center console).
