I used Velcro, almost 7 months and not any single problem at all, I place the cable as mentioned on several threads here but instead of an extra holder or anything else, I just stick the "grab" side of a Velcro on top of the Scangauge and affixed it to the ceiling, you can use any position and angle that is better for your sight.
