Canoe Rack

canoe rack that my dad and I built today (4/17) for 2010 Tacoma and 16' old skool Coleman canoe (the heavy bastards) nice and sturdy...but light enough where I can load/unload canoe and rack separately without troubles. NOW its BASS time total cost = ~$50 (all wood/hardware bought at Lowes....and I still have two 8' pieces of lumber left over and some eye bolts I didn't use) - this includes 2 boxes of deck screws that were just under $9 a piece, and a $13 package of camo tension straps.....not bad considering a real rack system is $250-$300+ !!!

      I'll take more pics of the rack on a nicer day..raining now. Only took about 3 hours to put together.....sort of resembles a makeshift bedframe - you'll see it once I take a few more pics.
