Spyder Auto CCFL Halo
(Cold Cathode Florescent Lighting) Projector headlights are for those who want the best exterior styling on their vehicle. The CCFL Halo typically illuminates a soft white and can be used as DRLs (Daytime Running Lights) or as an added accent to your headlight bulbs. Because CCFL Halos are made using fluorescent tubes, they produce a very smooth glow. These headlights are direct OEM replacement units, however, wiring will be required for the CCFL installation.

Cleanest light I’ve seen on a tacoma yet
I went with the smoke which looks way better in person then in any photos. I dig the look and the quality seems fine. I went with a YouTube video on install, it’s a bit more complex than I thought since I didn’t look into it before hand. I took others advice and sealed them myself before install although the manufacturer does say that condensation is normal and it will dry on its own I don’t want to deal with it. I’m giving 4 stars because the low beam bulbs that came with them suck. Very dim and not a clean line. I plan on upgrading to quality leds soon. The leds and halos are bright though. Over all seemed pretty professional from packaging to construction.

I had always wanted some aftermarket headlights, and when a deer decided to shatter my headlight I figured it would be the perfect opportunity to do so. So I got them in August and had a body shop put them in while they were fixing my fender. The lights are much better than the stock headlights on the Tacoma. The low beam is much more focused and bright, and the high beam is very bright and lights up the neighborhood when i drive through at night. Not only do they work well but they look amazing. Every time I see the front of my truck I am pleased with the look these lights give. I have even been asked by people where I got them. I have only seen a little bit of moisture in the lights after a heavy thundershower, but it vented out shortly after. Overall, great headlights that not only work well, but look good.

Looks great! I’d recommend upgrading the bulbs that come with it to an “arctic white” color to match the halos. Moderately difficult to install as I recommend removing the bumper and grill for easy access. Must be comfortable with wiring and soldering to get the connections solid. Otherwise, get a professional to do it for you. Should only take a pro an hour or two to get them in. I’ve read other reviews and haven’t had any issues with moisture intrusion. Some of recommended treating the edges with silicon, but I didn’t.

This headlights looked great on my 2011 Tacoma for about 5 months. Then It got cold out here in Ohio. Each of these pictures were from a different day. I even used a hair dryer one day to dry them up. That just left water spots on the inside of the lense and they only stayed dry for about 2 days. Then it started all over again.
