Better to ask what I have not done.
My power rear window mod needs a longer sleeve on it for the cable to slide in.

I've got a few misc pieces of housing all look to be 2' or longer and i have extra cables. Brake cable is usually 1.5-1.6mm and derailleur is usually 1.1-1.3mm so we would need to see if the housing would fit the existing. It should be oversized somewhat and from the looks of it the housing is at least on the 1.3 end of sizing.

    Hey everyone,

I am new here, and apologize if this is a re-thread...

Just bought a 2006 Manual 4door w/ 110k miles. It is base model, and I will add pics soon, however it is 100% stock.

I am looking into doing a suspension lift (not 100% positive but looking Bilstein 5100's, w/o drive line extension).

Two points I wanted to raise:
    - Is there anyone in the TW community in Chaffee County that would be interested in helping with the suspension lift? I have tools, jack, stands, just need some help as this will be my first suspension lift performed, and wifey is not up to challenge...(happy to travel to you, I just want a second pair of eyes to make sure I am doing things correctly, eventually will carry my kids...)
-Since I have never done this before, I am looking to make sure the kit I purchase has all the necessary items. i.e. I won't need a mad dash to NAPA as we live remote in regards to quick access to a Toyota resource.

    Thanks for looking,
    Chris

p.s. frame rust on driver side next to tranny, could use a second opinion on too....

    Not really near you but...

If you have frame rust you're concerned about, and being as it's an 11yo truck with 110k on it, I'd recommend soaking every bolt related to installing the lift in pb blaster as much and as frequently as possible before you start.

The lift install is really pretty easy. It's rusted and seized bolts that can make it difficult. It may be that you end up having to cut some hardware so it'd probably be a good idea to have new hardware on hand.

Can one of you with a second gen (preferably '12-'15) do me a favor? I just finished removing my K&N intake (yay!) and put the stock one back on. I thought I had reused the original hardware, but I'm concerned some of the bolts protruding into the passenger wheel well are quite long (see picture and excuse the dirt). Can one of you take a picture of the top of your passenger wheel well so I can see how long your bolts are? Much appreciated!

Thank you sir. Looks like mine are the same as yours. Wonder why they chose to use such long bolts?
