If you are affected by the annoying vibrations/growling noises caused by CV axles turning while in 2WD, this will solve it. There will be no need for a ECGS bushing or T-SB-0026-15 to replace your front differential needle bearing.

I'm not following what parts are replaced. This uses the stock 2nd gen bearing and hub, a 1st gen "stub axle" (that's what we call them in the VW world) and a modified what?

The picture in the first post shows what is included, per side. The bearing is same as what is on your truck now, so is completely serviceable down the road.

Interesting setup. Living on Maui not much places to 4x4 all the time so being able to disengage front CV’s would be nice. Definitely interested in a setup.

Absolutely, but unfortunately I don't control Toyota's pricing.

To give you an idea, these are the parts I have to order. These prices could be a little lower/higher but generally in the ball park.
Then add the manufacturing/shipping costs for the custom stuff.
You can not make this kit for the same price you can buy it from me, let alone the time/money in R&D.

thanks for going through all the work to figure it out, especially when I am sure that is barely worth your time cost wise. But dont stop selling them. I plan on buying your kit in a few months.

These two videos give a visual of the process.

    Removal

    Rebuild

I suggest to remove the inboard joint's clamp and slide the shaft out of the housing, leaving the housing INSIDE the carrier diff. It will look like this

like that Idea of leaving inward joint in ! ? BUT how would i put new oil in that joint ? also now that this will be a free wheel hub ,
could you use GREASE on outside CV instead of oil ? ( like old school Toyota Birfeilds ) ? I hope to install my hub kit soon ?

There should be only grease, no oil anywhere.
