"on my 2001, I picked up a Lund Interceptor (part number 18093, I believe). No wind noise at all. This was a bolt-on, no drill with no tape and it has not worn the paint at all. I am really happy with the fit."

"I swear by them for rock protection-not so much for bug deflection though. I've never had a problem with a quality one rubbing paint off either. I've had two Lund Interceptors on two Rangers and have a AVS clear one on order for the Tacoma."

"HELLO. you could look at lund hood protectors .the one i will be getting for my truck is called lund interceptor it is a wrap around and it is off the hood so you could clean between the hood and the hood protector."
