"I use a Thule T2. It works great and I've used it a LOT! Charged down a few rough roads with it and no issues. It's also not as expensive as the Kuat."

"That Kuat rack is pretty nice. the standard is the thule t2, but if your looking to haul more than 4 bikes a northshore rack is pretty nice. The flat tray style bike racks, 4 bikes will sometimes bottom out on steep driveways but may not be too bad if you."

"Yeah, I agree. I've used about every option available to haul bikes around and the hitch mounted platform rack is always the best. I had a Thule T2 that was great but now I have a Kuat NV and it's like the Toyota of bike racks."

"I love my Thule T2. Comes with the locks, Yakima charges extra. They make receiver extensions up to 18", not sure if that would be enough with all your stuff back there."

"Picked up a 2014 DCSB offroad in black last weekend. Yesterday went a little nuts and picked up weathertech mats, thule T2 hitch rack and a snugtop rebel camper shell. Today I will be making a bed mat out of astroturf for the doggies."
