Now that you have a set of BAMF 100% true bolt on sliders for the DCSB and ACLB it's time to install them. It's very simple two guys and install them in under 30min alone expect at least an hour.
    20150406_173456_1.jpg
    20150408_171936_1.jpg

If you ordered bare metal sliders you will need to coat them before installing them. If you bought powder coated sliders you will only need to spray the welded washers with some primer and paint so they don't rust. We don't powder coat them as it would drive up the cost of the powder coating.

The hardware you will get with the sliders take inventory there should be (Note that some hardware is not used for some year trucks as Toyota have removed and added holes over the years) The main thing is that you have 3 connection points on the bottom side of the frame and all years have these holes.
    (2) long bars with welded nuts
    (2) short bar with one nut
    (16) 1/2x1.5" grade 8 bolts
    (26) 1/2" grade 8 thick fender washers
    (10) 1/2" grade 8 locking nuts
    (2) 3/8thx1.5" grade 8 bolts
    (2) 3/8th grade 8 nuts
    (4) 3/8 grade 8 washers

    20170624_084605-01.jpg

    Tools needed
    Two jack stands
    One 3/4" wrench
    One 3/4" socket and wrench
One 10mm deep lug socket 2015 + only
    One 12mm wrench
    One 14mm wrench
    One 9/16 wrench
Small screwdriver or thin pointy object (more on that later)

This is the first thing you need to do when installing the sliders. You insert this into the Trans crossmember before the sliders are set into place you can not install this washer with them on the truck.

    20170624_085230-01.jpg

This the place where the washer above is placed take your screwdriver and get the nut aligned with the hole so you can get the bolt started. If your fingers are small enough you can use one to help you move the washer around in the right position. Place the bolt into the hole that fits your truck one will be covered depending on if you have 2we or 4wd
    20151117_155350.jpg
The first bolt is this one on the lower section of the frame it's in between the carrier bearing crossmember. Take your 14mm and remove it Note we have seen the frame move apart about a 1/16th when this bolt is removed making it hard to put back in. If that happens you can take a wratchet strap around both sides of the frame to pull it back don't try and force it in you can cross thread it.
Next you need to remove the bolt on the side of the frame and move the bracket out of the way for the sliders.
The picture shown is a 2016 the 2015 and some 2014's have this same box on the passenger side frame disregard this if you don't have this box on the outside of the frame rail. There is two m6 bolts and two m8 bolts remove the m6 bolts with the 10mm socket then the two m8 bolts with the 12mm wrench.

For all other trucks there is one one m8 bolt remove it with the 12mm wrench. Then pull the bracket out of the way and set the sliders into place. NOTE the lower bolt needs to be started first it's a tight fit once the sliders are installed so the lower factory bolt is installed first.

So after that you can reinstall the m8 bolts and bracket if you have the black box you just move it forward one hole and bolt it in with only one bolt then place the cover back on with the m6 bolts.

    20151117_155401.jpg

The black box with cover removed and replaced one hole forward.
    20151117_155413.jpg

Next you need to bolt up the front leg the frame it boxed here so we make a welded part with two top lock nuts on it to make your life easier. All you need to do is get the bolts started with the bracket then you won't need a wrench on the back side.

    20170624_085244-01.jpg
    20151117_155442.jpg 20151117_155502.jpg 20151117_155509.jpg

Next you place a washer on the 1/2" bolts and put them in every hole they fit into with one of fender washers (Note all washers are yello zinc that black ones pictured are no longer used) and lock nut on the back leave loose until all bolts are in place.

    20151117_155741.jpg
This bracket can be removed to fit your arm into the driver side boxed section.
    20151117_155854.jpg

On the driver side some of the brake lines are in the way you will need to move them ever so slightly to get the nut to clear.
    20151117_155906.jpg
Also on the 2016 this box needs to be removed and a bolt installed backwards in the frame sticking out as shown in the pictures below.
    20151117_160624.jpg 20151117_160753.jpg

Once all your 1/2" bolts are in place install the 3/8th bolt into the very rear lower hole with a nut and washer on both sides.
(NOTE) the driver side is very tight so going in from the front of the tank with your hand is the best way to do it. You may need someone with small hands to help out.
    20151117_155734.jpg

Its now time to tighten everything down start with all three lower bolts then the rest all the bolt just need to be good and tight but if you must you can torque them to spec the factory bolt spec you have to find as I cant find it (I'll update when I do) the 1/2" bolts 80 ft lbs and the 3/8th to 33ft lbs

Now that your sliders are installed go out and use them up as they were designed for!

Thanks Jerry for the instructions, very useful in installing these awesome sliders.

I installed them by myself so I used some wood blocks to prop up the sliders near the truck and used a floor jack to help push/hold them into position.

Here is a shot of the hole in the cross member where you insert the small bracket for the front bracket.

A useful thing I found was to leave a gap between the frame and the front bracket and start to thread the bolt to the bracket to hold it in place, then attach the first bolt on the lower section of the frame between the carrier bearing crossmember.

Nice little tip i did find the other day when installing a set (forgot the damn first step!) there a hole on the side of the corssmember that you can tap it in if your in a bind and forgot the nut before you placed the sliders on the truck.

That lower center bolt should be the first bolt on install If it's not threading back in your frame could of opened up when you removed it use a ratchet strap between the frame rails to pull the frame back in. The break line shouldn't be an issue but you can put a small bend in the line and reinstall the clip. As for the rear bolt it looks like it's already going in all you Should have to do would be put a small C clamp on the frame plate unless it's not going into the frame itself if that's the case the crossmember and frame are out of alignment you would need to drill that out.

It also looks like the slider center hole is not aligning with the frame hole. It could be the vertical angle of which the sliders are at. I had to reposition the sliders a couple of times to get it to line up right. Make sure all the brackets holding items to the frame are out of the way too. Sad to say on one side I forgot to move a bracket out of the way and it got sandwiched between the frame and the slider causing me all kinds of issues of holes not lining up. Once I realized it and moved it, everything went in pretty easily.

Also remember do not tighten any bolts until all bolts are in place once all bolts are in then you can tighten everything down.

got any tips for removing this crossbeam bolt on the bottom side? I'm worried I'll strip the bolt... It doesnt want to come loose with just a wrench. I'm thinking about trying an impact driver on it. Is the nut on the other side of it welded to the frame?

spray some penetrating oil on the nut on the top side let it sit for a few hours then try it. And yes the nut is welded to the frame. A 14mm socket should not strip it Also I've noticed some times there is a lot of tension on the crossmember bolt the frame would spring out after removing that bolt you can also try a ratchet strap around both sides of the frame to take the tension off the bolt.

Hey gang, new member checking in for some help on installing my sliders on my 2006 DC LB. I bought the 96" sliders, and Jerry talked me through the installation. I've got this thread in my hands, while looking at the truck. I have gotten so far as to install the passenger side front washer nut thing, and the front most bolt loosely installed. As I went to line up the back end, I've got a frame rivet interfering with the butt end going all the way up. My center carrier bearing bolt is just a hair mis aligned with the slider, but the back is sitting about 1/4" low.

There is a cut out for the front of the two rivets, but not the second rivet (here is a pic of drivers side)

Here is the passenger side one hitting
    [IMG]

Here is how low it is sitting.

Sorry for the cruddy pix, hard to do with the glarey sunshine.

Any help would be appreciated. Punting on this for today, will hope for some replies so I can try again tomorrow. Thansk

Your going to have to sand down that rivet or drill the sliders on the 05 to 10. it's only a true bolt on for 11 to 2017 trucks.

Thanks Jerry. Turns out there are three rivets in the way. One on the bottom, and two on the side rail. Bottom one is about 19.5" from the center carrier bolt, the other two on the side are about 12" & 22". Didn't think about it, but needed to go way over sized on the holes to clear both the side and the bottom one simultaneously. Needless to say, took more than an hour, and I only got one done. Maybe next weekend, with a much larger drill bit, it will go a ton easier.

Thanks again for the quick replies.

Anybody know the proper torque for the OEM 14mm bolt that you have to reinstall? That's really the only one I am concerned about getting right.

I have two extra bolts on each side. Can't see where they would go on the drivers side, and the bolts are two big for the frame on the passenger side. Short of that, these things are gorgeous. Well worth the wait, thanks Jerry!

Yeah I've been getting that a lot lately. The employee packing bolt packs was putting too many in the packs.
