Yeah my water heater is pretty much in the center of my lower level too.

I might just get a bigger tank.

E-85 has 30% less energy content then the standard gasoline fuels supplied at the pumps today. So you need to be providing that same additional about of fuel to the vehicle to see anything close to the same power numbers. You also would need to advance the ignition timing well beyond what the engine ecu is capable of doing, a simple piggy back computer could not accomplish this. Your basic math is off claiming a 30to40 hp gain on an engine that is not specifically designed to run on e-85.

Yes, it is possible to build an engine that will run with more HP then a gasoline engine. Alcohol fuels has cooling properties that cool the intake charge. Cooler intake charge will create a more dense air. If you can force more air and fuel into any engine it will have more power. This is where forced induction engine really shine with e-85.

Having had the pleasure of going to many alternative fuels classes and seminars I know this is one of the many futures we have for powering our fleet of internal combustion engines. To me, it could be one of the most practical solutions for the people who want to keep a current vehicle on the roads for years to come.

I have had the pleasure of repairing many "alternative fuel" modifications on Toyota vehicles. Most of the aftermarket "solutions" are substandard piggybacks modifying only the signal from the AFM and ECT sensors to trick the vehicle into running e-85. They run, sure, they don't take advantage of what you could really use the fuel for.

What are your thoughts about the acetaldehyde emissions?

We might do that later. For now, just swapped the wheels and went back to front lift on the original truck.
Noah claims the wobble went with the wheel after a short drive.
