Subbed, I had plans to do an aluminum with my other PRINSU skids in a similar manner but no need to duplicate a perfectly suited product for my needs. Will likely be in on this.

    Regular Cab here.

I don't have the same crossmember like the ones from the pics above. On my truck there is nothing in front of the tank until the crossmember that sits between the transmission and transfer case. For that I measure just over 29" (!) from the front of the tank to the front of the crossmember.

The Strap to Strap is just under 26.5" though ;)

Looks like the AC cab is good to go!

I'm betting they're the same, just the straps not hanging straight.

Will do, thanks for the help.

Howdy Zach! I'm glad to see that you can put one of these to use. Your aluminum skids are coming along nicely!

Well, the good news, is that we have the same tank. The bad news is that my design cannot be adapted to the single cabs. :(

If I can get a single cab into the shop I can look at different options.

Just like John above me, I measured my Regular cab tank straps, and I got 26.25", like what everyone else with their trucks. Just sucks that we dont have the cross member like the longer trucks. :(

Might be a silly question, but when you said

" The beauty of this design is that those of us that didn’t buy off roads don’t have to buy new $80 gas tank straps."

I presume that if we have a 4x4 these will work as well? Not sure if the regular 4x4 is different from the Off Road package.

The offroad package comes with a gas tank skid plate. The gas tank straps on those trucks have integrated bolts to hold that skid. That's how the majority of skid makers attach their skids.

Everyone else, Sport, SR5, Convenience package has straps without bolts. So you can use my skid without having to buy the new gas tank straps.

The truck that was supposed to come into the shop this weekend couldn't make it. I'm going to it tomorrow morning though.

The only question is the distance between the cross member and the tank. If you want to verify that for me I would appreciate it.
