    so i went to a local island with sand and dirty surrounded by the bay with my truck and i got off the road into some sand all of a sudden i heard the truck making a sound similar to the vibrating sound ur phone makes when it is on a table

    any ideas what it was

    getting there....
    check your skid plate(if you have one), and also if you have them....check your nerf bar mounts......may be a little loose and against the frame.

    stop going to the island... Honestly though, I've never had this problem with my truck, and the city I live in is one huge sand pit. Call your toyota service rep.

    word because it was like flat sand no bumps dips or holes but when i went on the dirty where there was alot of bumps and holes nothing happened it went through it all quiety

    Sounds like the ABS system. Was it doing this while braking?

    i was thinking abs too. the abs on this truck will scare the hell out of you when it goes off. it's a huge flaw in the Taco

    not you. I was trying to rule out some of the problems.

    My ABS kicks in on pavement all the time. I hate it.

    i wasnt braking i talked to a guy from kragen (its like a auto zone just in case) and he said i probably just kicked sand into some partof my truck

    it didnt do it on the dirty bumps and holes nor on the pavement and i wasnt braking
