high school fucking sucks, im the kid that does extremely well in all his classes without raising a pencil. i take all honors classes and my frickin lowest average was a 98 till some dumbfucks messed it up. my science is my best subject and my average last week was a 98.7 we had a project to do, three people assigned to a group with 3 weeks to do it, i worked my ass off and did the whole damn thing by myself while the retards in my group goofed off, made fun of me, and went to movies and shit. i presented it and explained to the teacher well after class had ended why our project was mediocre to all the others, well the dumb fucks in my group graded my group participation poorly and my 98.7 sunk to a 91.8 and it really pissses me off how one person works hard and all the rest get to benefit off of it while the worker suffers, its like damn communism it pisses me the fuck off...end rant

Same thing happened to me in high school. You can either refuse to work in groups (which will never work), or just suck it up and deal with it (which always works).

Yeah, it sucks that others will always be riding your coattails, so you'd better get used to it. Luckily you'll turn into a really big dick and that will help you in real life. Seems like nowadays you can't get anything done unless you're an ass.

 

Sadly the truth. You can still be a nice guy but you have to know when to lay your foot down.

 

My oldest son complained about the same thing on group projects in college, so it looks like you have a few more years you will have to deal with it. He still graduated with honors in spite of them. Don't give up the hard work FT, stay focused on the goal at the end. You will reap the rewards, personally first and foremost and hopefully financially as well.

 

yeah whenever i get in groups like that, i just assign work to people and harass them daily until they do it aka calling them daily and riding there asses until its done...yeah if i was the one being harassed i would be annoyed as fuck at the person but you know what, it gets the job done and its not like they're really your friends anyways so who gives a shit if they like you less....i would def. take it up with the teacher and he doesn't respond just go higher...don't sit there and let people shit on you

 

But now you have pepper spray and a wicked awesome copper moustache. So it's kind of a trade-off.
