Awesome thanks. Approx how many total in the dash? Brah one day I hope my truck is half as sick as yours. I'm gonna be doing a retro hid and was thinking of using the infinity q45 projectors. They are pretty big and will fill the housing nicely I imagine.

Preciate the kind words ;) Time and more importantly money haha and I mean I don't know how much retrofitting will need to be done to do it but its definitely possible. You only need 4 bulbs for the dash

Not much to update other then re tinting the truck. Dropped the transmission and replaced my flexplate by myself in about 2 days haha. Passing 214,017 miles. Got a Toyota water pump and timing belt kit along with lower ball joints waiting to get out on whenever i stop being lazy.

I know this is more than a simple question..but, any advice on a pre runner to 4wd conversion? Looking at a 02 double cab pre runner with less than 100k. Super hard to find these trucks anymore. 4wd is a must for me so I was thinking of swapping it myself immediately if I were to by it. I would also do manual locking hubs to avoid any electronic crap. Figured I could swap everything for around 2k or under? I've got a list going and price checking. This is what I got so far

-4wd tranny (auto) possible torque converter?? Hear they have different stalls between 2wd vs 4wd
    -T case
    -Front diff with mounts
    -CV's
    -4wd hubs w/ manual locking
-4wd rear and front drive shafts
-Misc interior console, shifter, boots, etc

    Anything else?? Thanks in advance!

Im actually finishing my swap today on my 03 double cab
Only think i see you missed is the mount for the transfer case
The piece that goes between crossmember and tcase
And a plate that the shifters go through unless you have tools to cut yours out

And yea 2k is a decent price point
I think i got all my pieces for my swap at around a grand
And then oil and seals and what not tack on quick so if you start with 2 grand and can do the work yourself your probably set

Awesome, appreciate it! Really doesnt seem that bad. Especially how hard to find a 4x4 1st gen is anymore. But, the pre runners are plentiful and low miles. Are you doing manual locking hubs also?
