Wobble followed the wheel over to the other side. Had a loose nut on one of the wheel spacers too. Not the axle I don't think, because the wobble went away from the driver side with the swap.

Gonna do a simple remount and balance for the wobbly one, and if it doesn't balance then the wheel is fubar'd.

Good job on eliminating one problem. Sounds like it'll be a cheaper fix than an axle, no?

To anyone who has sold used tires in the past.... Have you had any luck. I'm thinking about pulling the trigger on some MAXXs and selling my Duratrac 285/75/16s with about 1/4" left. The Coopers have a rebate right now too...

Easiest is to loosen that retention nut (show w/box-end wrench applied in that photo) while still on the truck. Just jack up the truck & put on stands. Then support the lower portion of the suspension system w/jack after removing wheel/tire. Then loosen the retainer nut on top & slowely lower jack holding suspension system & pressure is relieved from your compressed spring. Reverse order for installation. Easy peasy.

    Pretty productive day...

We got Jeremy's lift on. The bilsteins he bought had 886x springs on them. The perch on the driver side was set on the third clip up and the passenger side was set on the 2nd clip up.

Apparently the guy he bought them from blew up his CVs in less than 3k miles.. Well yeah!

Anyway, I talked him out of putting the 886s on at all for now with no bumper/winch. We put his stock springs on the bilsteins with perch at the top instead and he can swap in the 886s when he gets a bumper.

I swapped my old leaf pack w/AAL for his leaf pack rather than take them apart.

He also had a 1/4 trim spacer that we put on the driver side. Funny thing is, he ended up with 1/4-1/2 lean to the passenger side! (opposite of the infamous taco lean)
It'll be interesting to see when things settle out if that changes at all.

All in all, he gained about 3" up front and 2" in the rear. I think he's pretty happy with it.

    Got Noah's wheels swapped.

Then we decided to anti-seize my cam bolts. It wasn't too bad really. The rear bolt on the driver side was the only one with any significant corrosion.
The front passenger bolt looked brand spanking new. At any rate, they all got a good coating of anti-seize so they should be good to go.

    TL;DR
Had fun, got a lot done. We didn't let Ray make ANYTHING out of PVC.

I got some heckling in. Tried to stay out of the way, moved an item, stopped a socket from rolling away, and gave the jack a pump one time. And now the baofeng is programmed

    Nice!
Forgot, I pulled my LCA skids off and I think I found out why it was hitting.
The passenger side wasn't hitting. It also had about 1/2" of shims under one of the bolt holes that weren't present on the drivers side.
Ray took them and I think he's going to see if he can fix them with PVC or something.

Update for those who have been monitoring my Tacoma's issues...

Picked up my Truck yesterday from Mountain States. As you remember, or if just now reading this I have had it in the shop for nearly a month plus now. Two weeks ago picked it up, and broke down again with crank shaft sensor failure code.

At any rate, they replaced the sensor and said it was running as designed again... (they said this two weeks ago when I picked it up) even though they told me in person that it was no longer misfiring, but yet paperwork said different. So, made it back to Nebraska with no obvious engine issues, however while on interstate I noticed it was still not shifting like it should, longer delays to downshift, or hard shifts into higher gears after it had powered up hills. This also concerns me because it has never had to shift down for these hills before during travel. The supercharger always was able to boost and never had to shift. The supercharger itself is way louder inside the cab as it was when problems started happening... It used to be very smooth and unnoticeable during idle and only had the typical "whine" when accelerating. So... I am really at loss for what to do next. I barely got Toyota to cover anything on this because they blamed me for putting poor quality fuel in it. I think unfortunately I may have to trade it in and get away from it. Driving it is stressing me out.
