When I have it in the cab I just run the cord to the front — temporary solution though because I hate that the cigarette lighter doesn't have constant power when the truck is off. I do have it hard wired when in the bed though.

Subd. Saw this on the FB page a few weeks ago...one of the best builds I've seen. Hopefully, after my long trip across the pond, I'll have the $$$ for it.

I would absolutely love to make a trip up there! Seriously on my bucket list.

Thank you so much! It's crazy how buying piece by piece all of a sudden adds up. I look back and sometimes can't believe I've done already.

Who thinks I should go 37's?
I know they will rub a bit at full tuck but because this isn't a rock crawler thats not a big concern of mine.

I think the 35's are just right for the setup, your rig is nicely balanced, I think 37's may be too much, not to mention, do you need them?
Either way, still one of my favorite builds, do what makes you happy!

Since I went to 4.88's I have better low end and acceleration for sure and lost a little on the high end. Running about 2400rpm's doing 65mph. Pulling a trailer so often, especially up steep mountain roads I really wanted that low end.

Whats your thoughts on those new Toyo's?
I'm on the fence between the AT2 and the RT. Did the AT2 ever let ya down? Any weakness you saw with that tire?
    Thanks

I think it truly depends on your style of driving and the terrains you frequent. I started with the AT2 because I wasn't planning on this being my offroad rig — mainly just daily driving and they were perfect for that and rated at around 60K if I remember right. I went through Moab with them and they did great on slick rock with full tire pressure.

Since I do almost an equal amount of on and offroad now these new R/T tires are seriously the perfect balance plus rated at 45k. Aggressive tread but still amazing for daily driving.

You can't go wrong either way but it will all come down to what your needs are.
