    Ego what? Ruining what?
You blasted someone for saying it wasnt damaging. Then you resort to name calling? Really?
I put the eyerolly smiley in my comment to clearly show my conviction to the topic
What does Canadian have to do with anything? Is that the stereotype going around these days? Canadians ruining things?

How about this, I was completely wrong. Your truck is probably near failure as all the ice has now pushed all parts out 10%. It is science, as you hashtagged for some reason.

I've done that to a couple cars at work. Fun times watching the victim unwrap it.

Got something against Canadians? If not, you're a little too new or don't post enough to joke around like that.

One of these days, a Canadian will probably solve your problem in a future thread.

I would trade you that ice cold weather for the 90+ temps we're having out here. The hot wether is tough on the elderly, pets and plants and they are going to force sharply curtailed water usage real soon.

Yeah, because sub freezing temps are awesome for the elderly, pets and plants.

false. I see first gen tacomas (guess what, the 95's are 20 years old), toyota pickups and fords from the 80's, and countless other old vehicles every day here. Yes the road salt during winter sucks, and I too want to get the hell out of here. But saying my truck couldn't last 20 years just doesn't make sense. Anything will last if you take care of it. I garden hose my truck off top and bottom as frequently as i can. Next fall (if im still in ma) ill treat the frame with fluid film. As for the bodywork rust, that can all be repaired. Ask me how i know. I had a ford focus as my first car and the rear panel near the wheel well was rusting badly. My dads friend who does phenomenal body/paint work fixed it. Cut the bad metal out, welded in new and painted. It Looked factory brand new. So yes, you can have a vehicle where i live for 20 years.

hmmm, interesting read to make Monday morning fun at work. So ice covered vehicle won't last and should be destroyed. I can see where I went wrong after all these years. I think I'll go ask the racist dude at the farm store, who most likely owns it, how his tractors have lasted so long so he can provide us with food even though the ice messed them up. Although, I did attend a sub-standard school so I may not understand him/her. Oh well, I guess I'll unsubscribe from this thread since it's so crazy now I may not be able to understand it any longer.
