The last ford I owned was a 93 XLT access cab. I turned around in a shallow ditch and heard the body creeking. The whole body on the truck had warped and neither door would shut. I swore off Fords at that moment. FORD-- Fucked Out of a Real Drive or Fix Or Repair Daily. Hope you have better luck than I did. Don't take for granted dependability and realiability. All that glitters is not gold.

Are you talking about your tacoma ? i was referring to the raptor that only gets 13 combined city and highway. I would easily live with 20 lol. I am not concerned with fuel mileage very much but 13 combined i could not do.

I built an F150on the Ford site...not a Raptor but, it came in at $64,390 fully loaded up. I wouldn't pay it but, now we all know why full size trucks are the bread and butter for the domestics.

That is insane. Don't you have to use premium as well with that supercharger ?

Ok when i was thinking about the f-150's I did not factor in the newest versions. I haven't seen to many on dealerships near me so I never checked the price on them. With that being said for that price you can get a full size coal burner :burnrubber:

How is it less truck? I'm getting more features, more space, better payload, towing? I'm really curious.

Too big for me, what is it about 240 inches long? 150 inch wheelbase? 48 foot turning circle?

Coming from someone that owned a F-150, I could sit on my tailgate & not bend it, couldn't scratch the paint with my fingernail, didn't have frame rust, unfixable drive line vibes, wheel bearing problems, 4wd actuator bearing problems, squeaky blower motor, and crappy leaf springs. Mine hit 103k without a problem and if it was 4wd and fit in my garage, I'd still have it.

Nice reasoning... You give Tacoma enthusiasts a bad name; with your logic.

I appreciate people giving their kind words to my trade; and even those that are being cynical.

I enjoyed my Tacoma, even though I only put 23k miles in it I had more than my fair share of problems, within the first 5 k miles I had to have the entire driver side door seal replaced as wind nose was apparent in higher speeds.

Then at 10 k miles, the driveline vibrated terribly. Which had to be replaced

Then at 14 k I had the leaf spring tsb done since I began sagging.

So those that are bad mouthing my new ford, need to realize even the beloved Tacoma has its fair share of issues (mine being one of them)

I had a Ford F150. It was good until the trans blew up at 100k. Then it started falling apart.

Because we have threads of many topics..maybe he enjoys the site? Enjoys giving his personal input, etc.

Not sure where your logic is coming from on this. Toyota does this with their new vehicles...actually, to both of my Tundras (previous, and current)

Should have got the newest 150 if you really had to trade...that may have been an upgrade. The year you got...meh.

Maintenance plans usually just mean oil changes / tire rotations...
