    Anyone know the correct way to play that ? Odi (Sean O) was saying just bad luck but didn't mention another option other than swiping at the puck.

    Shouldn't Jake just ignore the pass and take the winger (coming in for the pass) out of the play, thus letting JQ smother or clear the puck ?

    Was a good game #15 Andy A was in for Stoll and made the most of his chance ..Had a sure goal that Rinne got just enough to move it to a solid pipe (CLINK) shot.

    No word on Stoll but this would be a great first round matchup ... and yes LA would take the series.

    1. Why the drop off from last year in your opinion ?

    2. At this point in the season 112 pts like last year is out while LA could still get right around 100 again .... Do you think the defending champs will make the playoffs ?

    I think last year was a very lucky year for the AVS IMO. The amount of one goal games they won last year was ridiculous and they seemed to get every bounce. That being said I think the opposite happened at the beginning of this season plus having Varly battling groin issues doesn't help. He is really the backbone of the team given their questionable defense. However they've been playing good hockey since the all star break just dug too big of a hole to climb out of

    I absolutely think the Kings will get in. I think they'll overtake Calgary. Kings have been playing good and I can't count them out this time of year.

    Kings should win but it won't be easy ... probably a ton of cheap shots like the left hook thrown at Toffoli tonight by the Preds.
