Back seats in the Tacoma are not very car seat friendly IMO. Specially the bigger ones. Mine is jam packed.

 

What he said. Car seat needs to be on that side or in the middle when I'm driving, otherwise it forces me too far foward. Once she's foward facing, it'll be easier, and then I can throw her behind me, with her sibling on the other side.

 

I thought that too, when my son became old enough. But no leg room for the little guy when I tried it.

 

PSH. Like they can keep their little legs in one spot longer than 2 seconds anyway.

 

That's only acceptable in warm months for bed of truck. Of course since I have a cover. I can go a little longer.

Could get thinner seats, which is the plan anyway.

No sir, at one point I had two boosters and a back facing baby seat in the middle. All kids were happy as clams! Now bigger, my oldest 11 sits behind me, middle child sits in the middle, and youngest is in booster behind the passenger seat. It's all good
