Any recommendations on Window Ventshades? Best place to purchase? What is a good Price? Which Brand? 09 Taco Dbl Cab

 

In the window channel ones seem the best 2 me dont get the glue on ones

 

I agree with LEEP. In channel. I got mine at EBAY. About $50 free shipping.

 

I have the peel and stick AVS shades. Zero problems, no leaks, and I would recommend. My old man has the same thing that he put on his truck in 1994, and they are still nice and tight without peeling. We also take very good care and detail our vehicles. With proper install they are great.

Edit: I also purchased them at AA Auto, seeing as I get a good discount.

 

Wade in channel ventvisors are pretty good if you can find them

 

x2. I have AVS with peel and stick on my truck. I have no problem with it. I used to have it on my Trailblazer for 3 years and I took it out because there was crack on the shade. Somebody broke it somehow in the parking lots. So I took it out and it didn't peel the paint.

 

Have the Weathertech in channel ones. They have been great so far. I had the AVS stick on ones on another vehicle before and one of them came off after a year and I often see people riding around with some missing. Obviously the above posters have had good luck with those so I guess it depends. I prefer the in channel ones though.

 

I also recommend the in-channel. They're a much cleaner installation in my opinion.

I have the inchannel on my truck. Very clean look and easy to install.

 

AVS in channel. 49.99 at advance auto. Plus if you search for Advance auto coupons you can get 5 bucks off.

They look sharp.

No prob...When you get them...Be sure to CLEAN the channel VERY well before you install. Get a few extra alcohol swabs. the ones in the kit are very small.

 

I much prefer the looks of the inchannel aswell. Got them on mine (weathertech).

But, if you put them on you'll never be able to take them off without replacing the window weather stripping, which forms to the shape of the in channel visors and when you take it off there's alot of wind noise leaking through the stripping.
