Saw a mean vid of someone jumping a snowboard over the road up there on Mauna Kea. Can't find a link though, shitty.

I was hoping they would open Mauna Kea access road earlier. By the time they opened it I was already on the plane back to Oahu. :( Went up Mauna Loa on Saturday instead, my first time up there.

    Yeah that's it.
Funny, before I left home the Police had to have American made vehicles. Funny seeing the blue cans on Nissans and 4Runners.

I didnt know they had a rule to only use american. I was only aware that it had to have atleast 6cylinders and automatic. then certain safety items got adopted over the years, things like abs.
Im kinda on the younger side, but I do remember early 90s 4runners/pathfinders as personal cop vehicles. I remember the mid90s camry as a cop car. In the movie Beyond Paradise, they have a white early 90s 4runner.

I left in '98 and I think at that point I only saw one 4Runner cop car.

Cops all had American back then, not sure they could have a V6. All I remember were Monte Carlos, Mustangs, Z28s, etc. So of course us delinquents out in our Hondas and VWs were leary of any muscle car headlights in our rearview lol.

I had to get pulled out of some snow and dirt by one of the parking lots. Even my locker and 2Lo couldn't get me out. Was just spinning tires. I gotta get my exhaust rerouted so I can get that driveshaft back on

Oh rajah…always had for personal cars. Special duty they can use pretty much whatever. My moms 3rd gen runner was my uncles vehicle that he outfitted for work, but ofcourse rarely used it.

I love fast cars and spending nights having fun out there…so I know what you mean. It carries on to lifted trucks and wide tires. Just gotta watch my back.

Hahah, funny thing is…4low makes it worse. Not fun with wet roads and swampers. The other week ago I was just sitting at a stop light in the rain.
