T-SB-0008-14_1-10 Driveline Vibration

Does this TSB apply to my truck when on page 4 it says: If the vehicle has an aftermarket suspension/body lift or leveling kit installed, this bulletin does NOT apply?

Will they still not fix the rear engine insulator and steering wheel damper?

 

anyone know the answer?

 

I know my dealer performed the TSB for me even though I had shocks and front coils. Albeit my lift/level isn't that huge. Because I noticed that same sentence before I took it in. As I was in the waiting room I was sort of half-expecting them to come out and say they wouldn't do it, but everything went fine.

Although I think they would take issue with you wanting to cherry pick certain parts of the TSB to perform. I would imagine they'd have to do all or nothing.

I will say though, after the TSB, my take-off shudder went almost entirely away.

the tsb works because known parts, angles, and geometry is adjusted to known good angles

no one is interested in a non-stock truck parts for warranty/tsb work

Why would they not fix the rear engine isolator and steering wheel damper? That doesn't have anything to do with the axle angles. Disagree with ya and the no one part. Ill let ya know when I get back and see what they say.

the rear trans / tcase mount has everything to do with driveline angles.

a change at the position at the front u join effects all 3 joint angles.

 

I was declined on stock suspension because of my ARB.
