I assume when you put in the codes if there are less digits you leave them as zeros? Such as the T data one? Thats what i did and there is a temp output now, just not sure its right.

I guess so. The 2005 - 2011 values are from my UGauge exactly.

The 2012-2015 ones were given by another member

If someone has been able to get the Mgauge for the Lock Up Converter Status to work for the newer Tacoma series, please post the code that you are using. Thus far I have only been successful at getting the Trans temperature based on the code published on the website. The pre-programming from UltraGauge all came out with Err when installed. I was able to get the Evap System pressure to show up but it's always showing 0 psi. So I assume the code is not 100% on that one either. I'll keep trying. Thanks..

Well, i'm getting trans temps, i think correctly. I would have expected them to be more consistent, they vary quite a bit during normal driving. On a 40 min/25 mile ride home from work (40 deg), i think i topped 150 only once at a stop. Averages mid 120's normal driving once i got close to home. I guess the cooler is doing its job as it drops quite quickly when you start moving. It makes sense i guess, i dont think there is any type of thermostat for a trans, you just want it as cool as it can be.

I've put in a help ticket with UltraGauge for help with the other Mgauges for newer Tacomas. I experimented with changing some of the preset parameters on the converter lock up. I was able to get it to show up. It switches between 1 & 0 as I drive. Not sure if it's actually working properly? Someone else with the MX 1.3 can verify it by comparing it to the RPM feedback as discussed above. I'm really not sure what to watch for. It switches in an out (0 vs 1) quite frequently while driving.

Codes for 2012-2015 Converter Lock Up:
    TDATA: 07E02182
    MTCH: 6182
    RPOS: 1F01
    RCTRL:21
    TCTRL:92
    X: 0001
    /: 0001
    +: 0000
    Output format: 00
    AVE: 00
    Left/Right is 30

One way to it should be to go fast in overdrive. And press the gas and the converter should engage then disengage when you let off.

Got my temp and lock up working however when setting the codes I originally put the transmission temp on the wrong page. Yeah I'm a dope. I restored to factory setting but it didn't revert to original codes. Could someone post the codes for the first page please?

Today it was 83 degree outside. This is the highest Iv ever seen by trans temp. Since I started observing. I was sitting in the drive through at Burger King for about 6 or 7 min. In drive. Didn't notice much changes once I shifted to park

Do you have the tow package or a trans cooler? Even if you did, not much help when not moving.

Sorry if this somewhere in the thread but is there a way to program the version em1.2b to read the transmission temp? I saw the mgauge post with all the codes but I have no clue how to get there in my ultragauge or if its even possible.

No, you need to send your ultragauge in to be upgraded to mx1.3. Its like $20-$25 with shipping

Yeah sorry. It's a 2015 and the mx1.3. When you go to code the trans temp I messed up the first option page. Can't remember the abbreviation for it. I can check later. Out to eat with the lady!
