Here the deal, I have searched and searched the forum and they is SO much conflicting info...

    My setup is @ 3" Icon CO's with Icon tubular UCA's, 285/70R17s on a 2015 DC

What is the IDEAL CASTER setting???? After the UCA install the caster was at +4 pos with no rubbing(on the street) but I cranked up the front end and took it to be aligned and now it is at 2.2* pos.. Still no rubbing(again, on the street) but the tires look WAY too pushed back.

I called ICON and was told +1 pos!!! No way.. Just no friggin way..

I have a Firestone lifetime alignment so PLEASE just help me figure out where it needs to be so I can take it back and get it set properly.

    Thanks in advance!

Factory specs are around 2*. http://www.customtacos.com/tech.old...6toyrm/06toypdf/06rmsrc/rm2006ta/03900310.pdf

I like mine to have a lot of caster (4+*) for two reasons, one is more tire clearance at full stuff, and two it turns better in the dirt and on limited traction surfaces (snow and ice, wet pavement, etc). The drawback to high camber is the "return to center" isn't as pronounced and some people call that "wander". You can't have too much caster IMO, if you go too far the steering arm will hit the coilover at full turn lock.

I have the exact same lift setup as you, and virtually the same tire and wheel setup (ProComp 7032s 17" wrapped in Cooper Discoverer ST Maxx 285/70/17). Here's my specs post alignment about a week ago.

Of note, I rub the cab mount on full lock, especially on angles and in reverse. I plan on doing the CMC this week and probably some fender flair trimming once I throw the Bushwackers on this weekend. Hope this helps.

Let me add that I have the factory front bumper, I don't feel like damaging that or the factory fender flares!

Same, factory front bumper and fender flares right now. Had to trim a tad on the flares but again, it still rubs on full lock.

Here is what I tell the mechanic at the shop:

    Toe: .0 to +.5
    Caster + 2.4 or more
    Camber .0 to + .8

This setup works well with any stock or mid-travel setup. I have 3 inch lift with icon ex travel COs and LR UCAs.

I will write this on a note and hand it to the mechanic and also tape another note to the steering wheel.

I have 3.0 degree caster is it drives wonderful.

I have the camber slightly negative at -0.3 degrees. I had slightly positive and then 0 camber and the outer edges of my tires always got chewed up quickly. It seems like the tire wear is more even now.
