    Lots of bolt on chrome stuff
    In my quest to get a CB set up for this trip I ordered a 4' Firestik. The I decided it was too long and looked stupid so I got a 3' Firestik. My point is that I have a spare 4' Firestik (black) I can bring down if anyone wants it. It's not worth the shipping to return it.

    that's not a bad idea...i just put a quick disconnect on so i don't hit in the office parking garage, but having a shorty to swap in is a good idea. never know when you want to BS with random truck drivers :cool:

    I should clarify specific to my needs as well.
    I don't have an OEM AM/FM radio antenna because of fiberglass. I used the firestick splitter to use my CB antenna as both my radio antenna and CB antenna.
    And random BS on CB is always amusing.

    I like that idea with a 2' antenna but I don't think the difference between the 3 and 4' is enough to be worth the slight hassle of carrying the spare and changing them out.
    I didn't know I could use the firestik as my radio antenna! This opens up a whole new world of radio things.
