    Lots of stuff
Customer wanted a Diamond housing and it is a solid housing. I am also running a Diamond on the front of mine that has been on 40's for a couple years and have never broken anything while snow wheeling or rock crawling.

allpro long travel, shackle flip with ome dakars, cruisin offroad bumpers and sliders, 4.88 gears with arb's front and rear, budbuilt skids.
your truck is also quite a bit smaller and lighter, also less power. as strong as a 8" may be the cost to go to a diamond 9" up front would be minimal but huge gains in strength from 30 spline axles to 35 and a 9 inch ring gear with a pinion head support.

this guy may not wheel like you either.

was the plan to run a HP 8" up there? I'd be interested to see how they will hold up on a 2nd gen. My opinion is that the 8" ring gear belongs on the 1st gen and prior toyota trucks, let's hope the warranty is good on the gear setup :D

We've passed the point of no return!

Front IFS suspension, axles, differential, cross members, steering, upper coil buckets, and bumpstop mounts have been removed. It's hard not to get too excited with a plasma cutter in your hands. :D

Day 3, and the progress continues. Steering box is in place, and ready to be welded. Coil buckets are clearanced, and tacked in place. Diamond front housing is hung underneath for bracket welding and mockup. Next go on the All Pro control arms.

    x2?

And that shock tower looks like it's prone to bending, these 2nd gen trucks are heavy. Happened to an access cab with similar design shock mount. Too much distance between the top coilover bolt with no gusset in there.

So ya I im with them ^^ think your missing something there boys.

Tacoma frames, not that strong, the reason I blew out a motor mount right through the frame like I did. You should be plating around the frame before your shock tower falls in. These trucks especially on 40's and beadlocks weigh a metric fuck ton, won't take much to fuck that up.

Also stock up on some 8" gear sets cause running 5.29's your sure to go through afew

I'm not hating just dont like that this truck is seriously under built. There's a reason all the well buiit 2nd gen Tacomas run 1tons or a 9"
