They do not have the Taco listed or pictured. Thats where I come in. Speaking to a few big name brands, seems that the mounts work similarly on most of the Toyota products, i.e.. FJ, 4Runner, Taco, Tundra. There are 'kits for each that are cross platform compatible.

Yes - to be as short as possible.

Would have gone even bigger if there was an option. We load down this truck to its brim when we are all on the road.

Wife insists on bringing everything AND the kitchen sink

Welcomed addition in more ways than one.

Unfortunately for me, I now have been eying the rear end. Disks on all 4 corners? Not yet, but not the first time I have looked into this.

    Congrats on the sponsor bro!..:)

Btw...the E2 arrived and it's a thing of beauty...:D Funny though...my mounting brackets are PC'd black without the Rigid logo...lol Actually all the more better for me since I'm a Black and White kinda guy...lol Plan to install the bar tomorrow after work. Using the upper channel on the rack as you have done. That's a great way! Can you recall off hand the bolt size/length for the bracket through the rack?

I would get some short bolts in the M6 flavor. Just enough to go through the first piece of the rack so you can secure it in the rack track. Take the mount to the hardware store to make sure the bolts fit. I like to keep everything metric on the truck so I am not looking for standard and metric when something bad happens.

Want to say, 1" to 3/4" or less is what it should have been. They were out and I ended up with a longer set. Lock washers, washers and nylock nuts.

mounts. might have been a promotional item for the ss versions.

Speaking of AWESOME. There was some nice Rigid Industries gear at my front door the other day. Got some pics. Need to post them.

My daughter got the box first. hat and shirt went on, then the flag/ banner turned into a cape. She grabbed the roll of stickers and started using it like a mock telescope. Says to me, "Dad, wheres the light cannons? This is the same thing right?"

We call the lights "Light Cannons" - she helped install the current gear and knows theres plans for more.

I wore the hat and shirt to the Mid Atlantic Overland Society Meet last week and flew the flag on the truck for the few hours we were there. Tons of exposure in the parking lot. Saw someone sniped a pic and posted it on FB too.

That's awesome on the Rigid stuff and funny what our kids say...:) I wish Rigid had sent you some lights though...:) If anyone is deserving for being an outstanding rep...you're it!

I'll throw up a pic after the install...:D

I'm always willing to share. If someone wanted it more than I did, I'm sure it would look better on someones wall in their garage than swinging from the back of the truck.

Rigid E2 installed...loving it! Didn't get to wire it though as I was helping a buddy uncrate his new CNC machine. The top of the machine weighed 800lbs!!! Took us 2 hours to lift it on top of the base stand using a Floor lift, Jack stands and a butt load of 2 x 4's cut up raising it a couple inches at a time...haha 2 Man job that required at least 4 people to lift it and that would have still been hard still at 200lbs per person...lol You can see the connector wire jammed along the window track patiently waiting for connection...:D

Looking great. Too bad I don't resell all the gear I run! Glad you got it done and are happy with it so far. Pretty easy install? With all the pics, I like to think it is pretty easy once you see it.

New CNC machine? Killer! I had a thought on mounting brackets and custom mounts. Would be an awesome addition to the FrontRunner Outfitters Slimline II Roof Rack.

The side mounting plates, the ones that cover the corners on each of the 4 corners. Know what I am referring to? Yeah, those.

CNC a mount to replace those. I'll draw one up later today. But think about it. Wouldn't that be awesome? a No drill solution that takes advantage of the mounting solutions already at hand?

With the amount of material that would have to be used, wouldn't the cheapest solution. Would be the most functional and cool factor though! Just food for thought and something to mess with now that you broke a sweat putting that machine together!
