What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Some people have used the cut out center of the grille to plastic weld onto the leftover surround for 12+ deep satoshi grills but $40 is nuts for a bunch of hacked plastic.

It took about 40 min for the TSB and they didn't need to remove the bumper. There is a small scratch on the driver side light but there will be more sooner or later.

 

nasty, looks like a major case of armpit hair. Might want to check your filter box.

 

Headlight TSB?

 

Not today but yesterday.

Anyway... Got everything done underneath the truck. Just rolled over 14k. Oil changed, rear diff oil changed, drive shafts lubed, and tires rotated. Spent the rest of the day cleaning out the engine bay and went from front to back underneath. 6hrs later, Shit is fucking clean now (at least the bottom half).

I replace my lower ball joints and installed the All-Pro U-bolt flip kit.

 

Removed bedside decals, and started to make the speaker adapters for my audio build. Still kinda cold here so couldn't do much outside

 

Gave it a quick wash and dry.
I love this truck. I'd do sex stuff with it if it was socially acceptable.



Washed the scoot while I was at it.

 

Technically it is a TSB for the DTRL but they have to replace the whole headlight housing. The DTRL bulbs sometimes melt the lense like this:

 

since my ECGS bushing is on its way, I stopped in to auto zone and bought a CV axle. Those things are WAY more beefy than I realized. You guys who break them are doing it right!

Also priced new tires. They gave me a quote for around $850ish (the number is on the sheet not in my head) for 285/75/16 Wintercats load E. Stoked

My truck hasn't looked that clean since it was probably brand new. I've never even seen my truck look like that though cause I bought it used

 

Holy Crap!!!! Is that clean. I wouldnt want to drive it for days cause its so clean. What did you use? I see the spray can but cant make it out.

No doubt. I like a clean truck too but WOW.
I didn't even know that was possible. Must live in the south without salt too.

 

FINALLY finished prepping and powder coating my All Pro rear bumper.
