Just look at the build thread
I don't think I would ever open carry in public. But it would be nice not to have to worry about imprinting or your shirt riding up and showing the gun when you reach, bend over, etc.

    Two six shooters!

I hardly every tuck my shirt in, so it would be feasible to have an outside the waistband holster that's mostly concealed at all times.

Yes we need to compress the coil spring to disassemble your stock coil over strut setup so that we can reuse the spring and all the assembly parts.

We could disassemble without a spring compressor if we had air tools, it is not recommended and dangerous (done it before a few times and it shoots across the floor). Reassembly will require a spring compressor. Depending on how high you want to set the 5100s up it will require more preload (aka compression). That is why Dennis recommended a wall mount spring compressor as it is both easier and safer.

We could rent spring compressors, but they really require air tools or we will be cranking on them forever. I think Pepboys offers disassembly and reassembly of struts for a minimal charge. Other places may offer it also, but I am not sure which ones.

There are plenty of people making quality roof racks. I'm trying to come up with products that either need improvement, or don't exist.

I've found a couple of shops that will let me use their spring compressor for a six pack. :D

It never hurts to ask, just find the manager and ask to use it. I've also slipped the tech a $20 to run the compressor for me.

That I will not argue however I've been searching like crazy for a rack that is a basket with attached light cage. Usually it's either front runner style or basket with 40" light bar mounts.

Also will you be doing light weight skids for the rest of the truck or do you just plan on gas skids for now?

Sell my house, buy ^that^, have enough left over for a full 1000AWHP turnkey build, but would have to live with my mother.

On the plus side, she has the garage space lol.

I'm game. Just give me a shout.

Why in the world does that belt have ammo loops and magazine pouches?

I was thinking something like this.

Yeah, the market for the baja style rack seems to be dwindling. Everyone is looking for the low profile style now.

I'm looking into other skid designs, but the IFS skids need to be beefy. There's a place for steel, and that's one of them.

Ok cool. There's a body shop down the block that debadged my truck and touched up some paint on the tailgate for a couple bucks, I imagine they'll let us use whatever they've got. Can always find a pepboys/ntb near here if I need to.
