Speaking of 4runners, fed ex delivered roughly $400 worth of parts today.

 

So I figured out where the leak is for my arb locker it's deff in the diff removed the breather line and air is just bowing out of it.

 

ECGS install?

 

I personally installed the 3rd but ecgs setup the 3rd member with gears and ARB air locker u just bolted everything together

 

We're about to become best friends after I bring that truck over.

Most likely it's the o-ring on the seal housing. The third will have to come out of the truck, but thankfully it doesn't have to be disassembled to replace the part. There is a single bolt that holds a retaining clip in place, the the seal housing can be wiggled out. You can buy the housing as an assembly for 45 bucks, not sure if you can just replace the o-ring without buying the whole piece.

Something neither of us considered, the Dana axle is a drivers side drop. My 4R is a passenger drop. I'm just going to order the Trail-Gear housing next week.

 

Re-tube or dana 60.

I found a land cruiser axle for $250. Out of a 70's.

 

If y'all are still talking about the wagoneer axle, they did make them as a passenger drop as well. I would never buy a trail gear housing.

Silly idea, wonder how my truck would look riding on stock 17s and keeping my 35's for wheeling..... pretty funny I'm sure, but I wonder how much it would help my gas mileage

 

I had stock 17s and 315s. I liked it.

 

I'm saying stock tires too. I meant keeping the 35's on the wheels now and putting them in the garage
