Headlight is not bright

I have some idea to replace my LED headlight. Because I always feel the headlight is not bright yet.But as I know the operating voltage of the is 9-32v,how can I make them to fit with my car?and also ,these is a other question,what is the color temperature?Can these headlight can be used as the fog lights?Hope to get all the idea about it.Thanks.

Not sure what exactly it is you're asking
The color should have been on the box when you bought them (a four digit number followed by a "K") if this is to high they appear blue. And are illegal in some places.

 

Sounds like he is wondering about replacing halogen headlights/fogs with LED.


OP, some have liked them, some have not. Some have had issues with their longevity, some have not. LEDs for head lights make better low beams and not much difference in brights, kinda like not having brights any more. LEDs may be better suited for fogs than headlights at this stage in their evolution IMO but here is a link to a thread with lots of good reading for you that could help with your decision.......

OP-where did you buy your LED headlight bulbs from? I have some VLEDS are they are super bright.

Ha ha gotcha. In that case: My 5000K VLEDS bulbs are fantastic. But, as mentioned above, the hi-beam doesn't make a huge difference. I also have LED fogs and love em.

3000k is yellow, 4000k 4300k or 4500k is pure white, 5000k is arctic white barely starting to have bluish tint, 6000k is a bit bluer. Anything higher than that goes from very blue to purple and the lumens which is a measure of brightness start to go down. 4000k-6000k are going to be brightest. 3000k is a bit dimmer but yellow in fog or rain or snow will make up for it because it cuts thru bad weather better. The K is referred to as temperature but is seen as color. also there are 35 watt and 55 watt ballasts that run this stuff and 55w being brighter and same temp colors apply but same 5000k bulb may look slightly different when 35w compared to 55w. Basically you want 3000k for fog lights and 4000k-6000k 35w for driving lights or headlights to be useful and not super blinding on road & offroad the 55w would be more light. 55w on roads is overkill and annoying and will get people actin a fool. Not sure if all this is going to help or be more confusing.

I went with Philips XtremeVision halogens for lows/highs in my car and truck. On the truck I went with 5000k 35w HID fogs in bumper with 3000k 35w HID converted Hella 500ff's on the light bar. On the car I went with 3000k 35w HID converted fogs. LED H4's didn't do it for me and HID H4's didn't either for headlights on truck. The H7 HID lows on the car were great but using that setup for fogs and went back to halogen headlights. I went back to halogen because it is easy to replace and dependable. No driving with 1 light for however long it takes for your new warrantied ballast or bulb to show up if using LED/HID or driving with mixed pair to have both working.
