    * I've been doing this for a couple of days so I may as well keep it up since most don't have my insomnia problem. I'm not going to be doing everyone on the attendance list, just the ones who have been adding to this thread in the order that they post. I may not have much of a night life, but I have a life. :p

    Wow, that's fucked up!

    I would be interested to hear the actual reasons the "conservationists" feel that shutting down trails will help prevent global warming . . .

    I am all for Stay the Trail and trail maintenance/prevention, but shutting them down does not seem like the answer. Anyone find more specifics on what trails/areas? They said Grand County, and if it was the whole county, that would be turrible.

    Kind of my thinking too. Where is the data that says off road or bicycle use is directly attributed to global warming? It's just the way you spin the data for your own needs.

    That's what I'm thinking. This would be absolutely awful if it gets passed. They said a ruling in June, I look forward to speaking with some locals about this issue.

    Haha, I like it! Waaay less people on the roads that way.

    Bullsh!t like this just pisses me right the f*ck off. I knew from my various secondary & collegiate history classes that this would eventually happen to our country. I just never thought I'd be a witness to it in my lifetime. :annoyed:

    Frankly I'm surprised this patchouli smelling, tree hugging hippie, communist control freak, environmentalist crap is even getting air time in UT. Many things can be said of the Mormans but having known too many to name, the truth is they are staunchly conservative. They have a moral directive to not directly screw or allow someone else to screw their fellow man if they can prevent it, believer or not (consider that when thinking about what if Romney did win). :amen:

    The thing I can't seem to do is come up with a comment to post that won't have my name put on a gov't watch list. Not actually threatening mind you, just far too pissed off to sound reasonable. If someone has a generic "boxed" comment I'd be willing to post it. :tinfoilhat:
