Hey everyone I've been lurking, researching, and finally pulled the trigger on purchasing from headstrong. However I'm second guessing what spacer on the front, if any. I went with 90021, 885, LR UCA, Dakar rear, center bolt lengthener, and a 1/2" spacer. I have roughly 60lbs of extra weight on the front and 80lb sliders. Think I'll be level or is the 1/2" spacer too tall?

I kinda regret getting top plate spacers. Looks great, but my truck eats CV boots like a champ. I've been considering removing them.

Yeah that's another thing. Debating if that extra maintenance is worth it.

Ditch the spacers and stick with the 885s or do the 887s coils to get over 2.5" ;)

Sliders distribute the weight across the center of the truck, not sure they will weigh things down much. Its not like running a front plate bumper.

A friend of mine has the 90021 struts, they ride real nice and he is super happy with them.

Think spacers aren't worth the headaches? Afraid I'm gonna be super raked out with Dakars in the back.

    Yes sir
Remember, it's only a 1/2 " spacer, look at a tape measure, it's not a ton so you shouldn't look "super" raked out haha

Hah I'm not sure. I'm not the biggest fan of the stock rake, would love to be even, but if it's not too bad then I could live with it.

Spacers are relatively cheap and easy to install. I say leave it out and if you think it has too much rake, order them and install.

So the "trim packer" to fix the taco lean does not seem to come with the OME (Heavy 886s) kit I ordered. Where do I get one?

I think I've replaced 3 cv axles since I put my lift on a little less than 3 yrs ago. I've tried the boot slide method as well, didn't seem to make much of a difference. Not sure how much homework you've done, but be ready to chase down some different vibrations after the install. Every truck is different, but I ended up using a carrier bearing drop, axle shims, and had to install the bushing that East Coast Gear Supply makes, which replaces the needle bearing in the front diff (they have a few pertinent threads on here - search ECGS). Vibe free now

Dogshit. There are a bunch of threads on them doing more bad than good. I'll try to find you one.
