Ill never criticize a glock. Good and reliable guns. But I don't own one. I did own a G20. Sold it though. Glocks just don't fit my hands and don't feel good to me. Sigs, FN's, and Springfield's all feel great so I generally still to them.

I *might* pick up a glock in .40 at some point since I can reload for it on the cheap since I have everything to do so already

Pick up a cheap Police trade-in G22. You won't feel as bad if you decide to do a grip reduction. Can always drop in a 9mm barrel too.

Actually what I plan on doing lol. Well picking up the LEO trade in G22 at least. Wont get a 9mm barrel. Have 9mm's I already like. Its more the grip angle just feels off than the actual grip size.

But we will see. A glock or even a 40 is pretty low the list of guns to buy

Glock 17 here. Only changes I would make is get rid of that hump on the rear of the grip or make a backstrap (gen 3 compatible) that straightens things out and a round ambidextrous mag release button like on the XD that is more separate from the grip.

I got several glocks but no 380, I have a lcp, that is enough, glock 42 is to big for me to conceal comfortably.

Contemplating selling off some of my guns to fund my lift. I had always told myself I would never think of doing such a thing, but want to free up some $$ for a decent lift.

Marlin lever action 30/30, shot it once to put some rounds through it and attempt at sighting it in. Probably 4 yrs old. What may it be worth? I think I paid like $350 for it back then.

Also may off my magnum research baby eagle .45, full size metal frame. Love the gun, shoots so well and straight. real good condition. Anyone have a value on trade?

Will be keeping my kahr cm9 for carry, and also my over under shotgun. Lots of ammo for both as well, I know they wont take in ammo at a gun shop.

    Am I crazy?

Depends on your need for the guns vs need for the lift. If the guns are not used or needed, then it may be a good trade off. Keeping in mind that the lift will depreciate in value far more swiftly than the guns ever will.
In lieu of us trying to figure out the specific models your guns are, Your best bet is to set up an account with GunBroker.com and find the same guns that match your used model/makes. Not to mention, a 30/30 may be worth more in NC than my state. Also keeping in mind that a for sale gun is not a sold gun.
My knee jerk would be if my decision, no way. But, I do not know your needs at this time. Ultimately it is your decision but, would give it some thought for a few days. Good luck

A group I follow on Facebook that consist mostly of vets had a gun post and in the comments section a member posted a picture of a Glock a customer brought into his shop after putting R.I.P. ammo through it. The picture is of the Glock and the ammo the customer brought in that he was shooting.

There have been many reports. There was a recall late last year after the ammo release due to it's compatibility with Glock .45's.
Apparently it only affected Glocks. I still wouldn't use the shit.

Neither would I. I had read something thought about the chambers in blocks not being fully supported (not sure what that means) and that's why they can be finicky about shooting reloads and steel casings.
