No complaints at this point. The majority of the boot actually comes in contact with the rear window as opposed to the truck body. There is an 16 or so inch area on either side of the third brake light where the cab actually contacts the boot. I think I am going to put a little weather stripping in there as I get a dribble of water when it gets hit with the hose, or goes through the car wash. This should also help to protect the paint on the cab.

Just got the Leer 100XR put on today. Pretty happy with it. Cost about $1950 with the headliner and tilt in front window which seemed a bit steep to me but living in the middle of nowhere I don't really have many options.

I like it a lot but gets dust inside when offroading. I've added extra weatherstrips around the tailgate and plugged the drain holes in the bed but still gets some in. I'm kinda compulsive so I'm gonna keep on sealin holes n stuff.

Yep. Can be done easily. Just need the struts upgraded to a higher rating. Could probably use a thin film defroster as a retrofit.

I blows my mind how many members think that this is too much weight for a cap to handle. :der:

Is there any reinforcement in the shell or I can just add a rack to my Leer 100XR for RTT?

And other question: can the OEM roof rack hold RTT with 2 people in it?
