Haha yea I agree, now that I have the cbi hood mounts not sure if I want a snorkel. I was thinking maybe I could push in the plastic and try to make it fit w/ the hood mount too.

haha I swear you and I have the same goals. I feel like every time I think of something to do next, you post about doing it! haha Super white minds think alike. Did you not see the group buy? 15% off. Ended saturday. Wasn't much but pretty much helped pay for shipping and the little extras like a second set of tie downs and extra bars.

I still need to file my taxes but I'm expecting 3k or so. Unfortunately that is all going to the credit card so no fun for me.

So my SC issue has continued. My friend decided that he wanted his money back and stick me with a broken supercharger. He stated that it would have been messed up even if I tested it before and that I would be out more money. I told him I specifically sold it to him "as is" because I didn't know if it worked right and he wanted it right away. I offered to give him $250 of the $500 he paid so far, which IMO is more than I should as I have another $4-500 to invest because the rotors were damaged. He was trying to say that was unfair and he wanted all his money back.

I got pissed at that point and told him he further damaged the SC by driving on it when he knew it wasn't running right and I told him to park it. He finally agreed to the $250, even though I feel like I'm getting screwed over, but I'm done helping him out. Me trying to be nice and helping him out even though he didn't have all the cash just blew up in my face and he isn't even appreciative. Sorry I had to rant a bit as I'm now stuck with a broken SC and no cash to fix it at this time.

Good call, with only one income and an expensive preschool all of my bonuses and returns go straight towards paying off the CC. Sucks because I sometimes get 2.5-5K bonuses that I just have to kiss goodbye as soon as they arrive in my account. Once the wife starts working (who knows when that will be) we might be able to use it for fun, but now we are looking to buy a place, so back in the hole we go...haha

You did the right thing, I can't say a friendship is worth an extra $250, but then again I don't think pulling that card on you is a friend thing to do.

No, I meant outright. Not brand new, but easily 2010+ loaded.
I paid more in taxes this year than I made in annual salary my first job out of college.

x2 For him to try and pull it on you kind of sets the bar low. He knew (*or should have known*) what he was getting as an 'As is' It's hard to say just give him the $250 and tell him to kick rocks, cause he's a friend. But Lord knows I've had friends try and pull shady things for their benefit. For me, just kinda of shows me where their priorities are.

Prolly more than me right now. Prolly for sure. Transitioning and waiting for law enforcement BLOWS. I'm making shit compared to when I was on Active duty training. Luckily, my wife makes semi-good money, (for being out of school, and starting out) but it's nearly impossible to maintain a mod schedule on someone elses dime. lol

I'd be so bummed if I owed that much. I hate tax season.
