That's why we just claim 0 at single rate. would rather get a little less money than owe at the end, personally. Wife messed up two years ago and claimed 1 at married rate (Company accountant set it up right after we were married and she never noticed), expecting a couple grand back, owe about 5k. What a shot to the nuts lol.

Weak, strong, whatever. I try to plan my taxes out so I break even every year, if anything I'll owe. Takes money to make money, and I don't make anything on the crap the government holds onto and owes me.
Yeah I owed a lot, but I knew I was going to owe and fully planned for it.

Seriously... I paid more in taxes than what anyone else in my family made this year... hopefully I get something back this year.

All my money last year went into guns, and this year everything went into the dirtbike. Just put Yoshimura RS-4 full stainless system and Unifilter air filter, and Dobeck EJK fuel computer piggyback on the CRF250L. Dammed Dirtbike. I want to do handguards with built in mirrors to ditch the big mirrors, and still need to install yoshi tail tidy plate kit.

I have no clue what my return will be, but figured it would be wise to spend it asap. And now I need to get my truck detailed...ripped off a bunch of paint in Sonora this last weekend.

I'm sure you are aware Shaggy, that pouring money into bikes, while enjoyable, never pays :)

I have an 05 CBR600RR black tribal with carbon yoshi pipe, hids, competition werkes kit, smoked flush LED everything, just did most of the stuff I wanted on my 14 CRF250L. Last year I traded my 05 Ducati 999 BiPosto and 20k for a Centurion Wakesurf Avalanche C4 fully spec'd out with all options including perfect pass and 16 speaker/3amp ArcAudio system. Still have old 70cc scooter, and garage full of bikes. I used to work motorcycle shops and have been lifelong car dealer employee. I'm a toy whore. It doesn't even matter... money into toys is a must.

Love Hollister. Sometimes we do off road instruction courses for customers there.

KTM makes great bikes, but I ride Red (Honda/Ducati) whenever possible. Though I should have gotten the KTM450 street legal. The 250 is anemic for a big kid like me

ON A SIDE-if anyone wants an 03 CBR600RR in short bus yellow, My sister bought one 10+ years ago and has maybe done 250 miles since she bought it. It has either Akra or Arata exhaust and PC3 and KN filter. It's been sitting plugged to a tender for years. PM me if anyone wants a LIKE NEW RR for cheap.

Still need to file my taxes this year. But we filed together for the first time last year and had to pay (also claimed 1 at married rate). Switched to exactly what you did so I'm curious what will happen this year.

Yea we made sure to both claim 0 at the single rate all year but filed together and got a little bit back. Supposedly poppin' out kids helps your taxes, so I'll get half a year of kid tax lol. 9 weeks to go!

I'm surprised you so many of you treat taxes like it's a big surprise each year. I manipulate what I claim as the year goes by. I know basically what my yearly refund/balance due is going to be the end of every month.

    I use Excel. LOL.
Like I said earlier, I aim for a zero refund every year. This year planning didn't work out because I got a huge comp in September and October that I didn't think were going to happen, so everything was way off and I only had a few months of claiming 0 to try to make up for it.
I'm salaried, so my base pay is the same every paycheck. Only things that change are comps and bonuses. Tax brackets are spelled out every year, so the only things in question are deductions and income. Excel calculations does the rest. Takes 5 minutes of my time each month to adjust for extra income or extra sales tax.
